Sandy paws glided across the damp ground, earth green eyes glowing through the mist as a gentle breeze swept between the thick gum trees, ruffling the young tom's already scruffy fur. With ears flat against his head and striped tan tail flicking from side to side, Earthclaw lifted his head to gaze into the evening sky, the misted clouds of a leaf-bare night already rolling across the marsh. Closing his eyes, a small sigh parted his lips as he remember the last night like this.
Earthpaw's paws thundered against the hard ground, emerald gaze narrowed in consentration and thin sandy coat flattened smoothly against his body. Only the mist seemed to move around him as he ran, jaws parted to allow him to take shallow, ragged breaths as he ran, only glancing back once to see if the other three had kept up. Skidding to a haul, Earthpaw skidded around, tail lashing from side to side as his eyes flew open. Looking around in horror he opened his jaws to give a yowl but stopped as soon as he picked out Littlepaw's beautiful blue tortie coat from amoung the mist.
'Come on!' With his ears pricked, earthpaw gave a nod as Midnightpaw pelted past him, Shadowpaw close behind. 'Move!' Littlepaw hissed as the sandy tom's mind suddenly whirled to life. Pelting after the rest of his friends, the four apprentices drew even with each other as Earthpaw guided the way through the mist that he knew all too well. Leaping over one last log at the very edge of the trees, the apprentice stopped dead in his tracks as he felt Littlepaw and Midnightpaw come to his sides. Hearing Shadowpaw gulp from the other side of Midnightpaw, The sandy tom looked directing forward and into the deep blue eyes of pure hatred that he seemed to be seeing more than ever.
But tonight, that ended.
Without realising where his paws were taking him, Earthclaw stopped as he looked at the huge, old log before him and closed his eyes. Lifting his front paws to place them on the old wood, he let out a hoarse snort as the distant yowls and spits of his late friends echoed through his head.
'Earthpaw! Behind you!'
Earthclaw's head snapped to the side as he lifted one paw off the old wood, eyes closed even tighter as he shook his head, trying to stop the tears from coming to his eyes as Littlepaw's frantic yowls echoed through his ears making him groan slightly and pull both paws off the wood. Turning his head away Earthclaw let his claws slip into the ground, pulling up small tuffs of light green grass, covered in dew from the chilly night.
Feeling another wave of sorrow wash over him, he was comforted as the beautiful scent of wattles after a storm, brightened by the smell of Eucalyptus crushed by trampled paws washed over his parted jaws. 'Littlepaw,' he breathed, mist breaking out into the night from his parted maw in a small cloud. Almost distantly he felt the she-cats coat brush against his side as Earthclaw once sighed as he felt the once firece she-cat press her nose against his cheek. 'Stay strong Earthclaw, this war isn't over,' She mewed softly in his ear as Earthclaw nodded, turning his head to look at the she-cat, only to turn to see nothing but the mist as Littlepaw's beautiful scent faded away on the breeze.

A soft ashy grey pelt rested near Kindleclans entrence as the pretty grey leader dozed. Her head swayed with the light breeze, that ruffled her pelt a bit. Her soft teal colored eyes dimmed and brightened with each blink. Her whiskers twitched a bit as she looked around the camp, her camp. The thought made her chest swell with pride as she got to her paws. Her eyes rested on the old trees that looked down upon the camp, they had been here since she was born. Her mind wondered to a certain thought How much have these trees seen? streching out her forepaws she arched her back in a silent stretch. "I should get some hunting done." she mewed to herself as she turned to exit the camp entrence and onto more damp soil, that felt soft and cool on her pads as she walked. Lifting her muzzle she parted her lips to take in a deep breath making sure to analyze each smell. One smell caught her offguard as she recognized it as Earthclaws scent. Walking towards the scent she quickened her pace til she spotted the tom right off. He was murmering something to himself that she could hear clear enough to make out. Leting her eyes soften as took a few steps towards him, he seemed to be in thought maybe remembering something or just thinking. "Earthclaw." she replied gently staying a fox length away from him just in case he wanted space. "Are you alright?" she asked calmly.

Ears pricking up at once, the huge tom turned his head slightly as the scent of Ashenstar passed his parted jaws. 'Earthclaw, Are you alright?' Giving a small snort, the tom lifted his head before blinking warming at the leader. 'Yeah, yeah, I'm fine,' he mewed smoothly, short tail flicking slightly from side to side as he turned and leapt onto the old log with ease. It had been so much smaller when he was an apprentice, so much it took him a while to get over it, yet now it didn't take much effort. 'I'm just sorta, drifting and remembering my parents and stuff,' he continued. Earthclaw knew that no matter what the situation, he couldn't tell the leader what he was actually thinking about, what had really happened with Birdsong and the two missing apprentices. Maybe one day he would tell someone, but the leader of the clan was hardly the right cat. Looking behind him, Earthclaw's emerald gaze swept the fresh grassy clearing over the opposite side of the clearing, where at the very edge on the waterhole bank, two apprentices were burried, their bodies covered in a thin layer of moss and soil and marked by two huge rocks at the water's edge.

(Eek, I'm not as good as a RPer as you guys, please spare me xD)
The small shape of the KindleClan medicine cat slid through the marsh. "Where is that dang mallow," he muttered to himself, using his paw to guide him around the tall reeds. 'There!' he shouted in his mind, picking it up with his mouth. Is that Ashenstar..?' he asked himself, it looked like her. Spiderwind noticed another cat that he didn't know. He needed moss too, for the elders. I feel like I'm blind today, I can't find anything he muttered in his mind. The medicine cat padded over to Ashenstar and the other cat. Oh.. It's Earthclaw. Dur. "Greetings, Ashenstar, Earthclaw," he meowed to his leader, and the warrior. "Have you seen any moss, I believe the elders need it," he asked the KindleClan leader, looking at her with his big bronze eyes. Spiderwind wasn't around to know what happened with Birdsong, but he had heard the stories and she sounded evil, malicious, a psycho.

Heh, another strange day. Feeblepaw's normally soft ginger pelt was silver in the night air, her paws lifting only an inch of the ground. She was tired, hunting for the elders all day was a hard task, and she had hardly eaten herself. The weak KindleClan apprentice let out an exesperated sigh, as she padded onward, even farther. The scent of a mouse reached her nostrils, and without thinking, she stayed with her whole body extended, not dropping into a proper hunters crouch. Swiftly, she walked quietly toward the scuffling sound, avoiding twigs and leaves. As she realized she was nearing the sound, she then dropped into a crouch, and discovered the sound coming from a small bush just to the right. Pricking her ears, she followed the scent, and the sound with out making a sound herself. A twig snapped, her small paws had actually stepped on a twig, the mouse shot out from the still fairly far-away bush. With a sigh, Feeblepaw didn't even make an attempt to follow it, as it would only exaust her later. The sound of familiar voices not far off got her interested, her pale green eyes starkled with anxiety to reach the cats. Darting off through the trees, she reached the cats seh knew well, Earthclaw, Spiderwind, and to her surprise, Anshenstar. Dipping her head, despite the fact that she did not know if they knew if she was there, she spoke. "Hello Earthclaw, Spiderwind, and Ashenstar!" Her greeting rang clearly through the trees, she smiled as her jaw allowed her too, which was not too large. [/blockquote]

Ashenstar blinked at the tom thoughtfully as she just nodded. "Alright then." she mewed gently watching him leap onto the log. Her eyes narrowed in thought as she turned to act like she was looking for something. She felt like there was something he wasnt telling her, but she didnt want to pry so deciding against it she turned her gaze back to him. Siting down she turned to swipe her tounge over her paw then drawing it over her ears in one quick movement. Her tail resting gracefully on the grey leaders paws. Her ears pricked as she turned her head to a new voice. Her gaze softend as Spiderwind came over, and so she dipped her head kindly to him. Listening to his question as she lifted her muzzle to the air a soft tang of dew and moss clung to the roots of some of the trees, and logs. "I would check near the roots of trees or near logs. If not there then near some water." she replied kindly before turning her head to face Feeblepaw. Closing her eyes as she let out a soft mrrow of laughter. "Looks like where having our own gathering!" she mewed leting out a melodic laugh. Her eyes opening shining with her amusement as she purred out the rest of her laughter. Clearing her throat to calm herself she smiled at the apprentice. "What brings you out here Feeblepaw?" she asked resting her teal gaze on her gently.

"Thank you," meowed the medicine cat, dipping his head. The wind blew hard against his pelt as he padded down to the logs. "There we go," he scowled to himself, picking up the moss. Spiderwind wasn't the average medicine cat, he talked to his herbs. The black cat looked down to his moss. "Why are you always so tricky to find?" he asked the moss, but of course, no reply. The black pelt quickly padded up back to the clearing where the cats where sitting. "W..What's so funny?" asked Spiderwind, quirking his brow, then he noticed Feeblepaw. "Hello Feeblepaw," he meowed in greeting
