Glancing over the bay, the beautiful young ginger she-cat took a breath of the fresh air, letting it fill her lungs and breathing out again, it was a good life. Blinking her light green eyes she placed a paw in the shallows, the cold water lapped at her paws, drawing it away she stepped back. Brrrr.. too cold! Backing away slowly she moved around the edge of the shallows, keeping her eyes out on the bay, she felt energetic again, she wanted to move, but then she felt the need to store her energy, conserve it, no idea why.
Taking another breath she began running full pelt around the edge of the shallows, knowing well that nothing good would come of it, before she knew it she had slipped and fallen into the chilling water. Cold! she wailed as she splashed around, laughing as she pulled herself out her ears caught a sound of another creatures steps, she began scenting the air, shivering as the ice cold water seeped through her thin coat

The morning light of the sun danced across the smooth surface of the bay waters, the gentle lapping of the waters against the bay somehow calming the young tom's mind as he closed his shining aqua eyes and lifted his muzzle, maw parted to let the scents of the territory waft across the top of his jaw. 'Cold!' With his ears pricking up, Foxstar's bright eyes snapped open, looking around franticly, his long ginger fur fluffed up slightly as he looked down to the shallows, every muscle tensed as he expected to see a patrol of BreezeClan cats storming across the sand, but he at once relaxed as his gaze softened at the sight of Flamestorm leaping about in the shallows, looking utterly beautiful like always, even more so with her deep ginger pelt alight with the morning sun. Letting his blue gaze search the area for any signs of life other that the cheerful she-cat, the ginger leader got steadily to his paws and padded down towards the water, his paws gliding almost soundlessly across the grass till he leapt off his small ledge and onto the soft sand, paws making a small patter against the white beach. Careful not to scare Flamestorm, he made sure that is pawsteps made a little sound, so she'd hear him as he let out a bright, friendly purr of greeting. 'Bit early to be leaping about isn't it?' he mrrowed jokingly, his blue gaze shining brightly as the rays of sun danced across his golden pelt.

Still shivering, the ginger she-cat turned her head, the cold water chilling her to the bone, her mood immediately lightened again when she reconised the handsome ginger pelt of Foxstar. Tiiisss never too early! she purred between shivering, a giggle in her voice, giving her pelt a brisk shake to rid herself of most of the cold water she trodded up to the leader and gave him a gentle lick on the head, her eys glimmering with affection. Stepping away breifly to shake again she sat down and began licking what remained of the freezing water off her ginger coat, still shivering rather violently.

Tiiisss never too early! Foxstar rolled his eyes, his blue gaze softening slightly as he looked at her, his own ginger pelt prickling slightly. 'Oh come here you!' he sighed, stepping forward and softly starting to groom her damp ginger coat, pressing his side slightly against hers as he brushed his tongue softly against her cheek, still purring softly. She was always worrying him, every time she came out and ran around in the cold and one day she'd catch green cough or black cough and die, just like Featherleaf had. But he was determind that she wouldn't die anytime soon. 'So come on then, whatcha doing out here so early?' he asked softly, giving a small purr as he affectionatly rubbed his maw against Flamestorm's.

Giggling again, she pressed her side lightly against his as she felt his touch, the shivering began to die as his bodywarmth crept over to her. She looked into his eyes, oh his beautiful eyes, everytime she gazed into them she just seemed to get lost... the feeling of his tongue against her cheek brought her back into reality in time to her his gentle voice. Thought id come out and watch the sunrise over the bay, tis such a beautiful sight she purred softly into his ear. She gave another smile as his paw touched hers, suddenly feeling a warm glow inside her she twined her tail with his, the two gingers mixing with one another

'Thought I'd come out and watch the sunrise over the bay, tis such a beautiful sight,' Foxstar let out a soft purr in agreement, the gentle breeze brushing his long ginger fur up the wrong was as he snorted, sitting down briskly and quickly rasping his tongue over his pricked up fur a few times. 'Damn wind,' he muttered under his breath as his ears flattened briefly against the top of his head as he once again got to his paws, blinking softly at Flamestorm as he did so. 'Well next time you need to wake me up to come with you,' he mewed, a tint of mock scolding in his voice as he let out a playful purr, padding forward a few steps as he pressed his nose lightly against hers, gentle light blue gaze glittering in the sun as he looked across the water's rippling surface, a soft sigh of content escaping his maw as he lifted his head to once again take in the scents around him, noting the BreezeClan border not too far off. Giving his head a brisk shake, Foxstar once again looked at Flamestorm, a small smile playing at his lips as he flicked his tail towards the BreezeClan border. 'You going to come with me to check that those windswept cats haven't taken our territory overnight?' He asked, a small twinkle in his beautiful blue gaze as he once again moved to her side, brushing his shoulder softly against hers.

Flamestorm purred happily with agreement, then a thought went through her head You sure you dont mind me interrupting your beauty-sleep she mock teased playfully, giving his soft cheek a lick, her gaze drifting over the border as his did so, her light green eyes glittering with the reflectioin of the bay. 'You going to come with me to check those windswept cats haven't taken out territory overnight?' She purred with energy, even though the night was still far off she felt like she could stay up the whole night and more easily. Brushing up against him gently, she looked into his eyes, trying not to fall into a trance Would love to she purred softly Let them know our territory is not for taking

'Would love to, Let them know our territory is not for taking.' Foxstar let out a snort of laughter as he gave her a grin, blue eyes twinkloing in the morning sun. 'Here Here!' he yowled before his voice broke with mrrow of laughter as the tom tapped his tail lightly against Flamestorm's shoulder. 'Come on.' Moving forward, Foxstar's paws glided effortlessly across the ground, a gentle smile on his face as the morning wind whisped through his golden coat. Reaching the edge of the shore, he looked back to Flamestorm, purring brightly. 'Come on!' He yowled back to her as his claws dug impatiently into the soft sand below.

The ginger she-cat giggled with amusement, still looking deep into his eyes she fell into a trance as he moved away from her, times like these, she really enjoyed being a clancat, giving a smile she looked over the bay for a moment 'Come on!' Turning her head around she noticed he had moved away and pelted quickly up to meet him, not even a patter from her paws as they skimmed lightly along the ground, sliding just a little past him she slid her tail under his chin, a mischevious twinkle in eyes bright eyes, the expression in there.. well?

Turning his head, the leader gave a small purr, blue eyes twinkling slightly as he turned his head back ahead and padded forward, his paws moving easier now they were on grass as the golden pelted tom moved silently to the border, his jaws parted as the scents of BreezeClan crossed the top of his jaws. Snapping his mouth shut at once to block the scent of their enemy out, Foxstar glanced back at Flamestorm, a small smile playing on his face. 'God she's beautiful,' he though before he realised he was staring, locked in a trance by her beautiful flame-coloured pelt and light green eyes. Shaking his head to snap himself out of his daze, Foxstar reminded himself that they were on patrol and needed to be alert.
Moving up to the Water Cross, the leader stared into BreezeClan territory, his eyes narrowed with a cold, hard stare. 'I don't trust them,' he murmered, mostly to himself before looking back to Flamestorm with a flick of his tail as he turned away to one of the nearby oaks, quickly marking his scent against the damp wood. Moving slowly forward, Foxstar parted his maw to quickly take in the scents around him, carefully checking that BreezeClan had marked the right borders.

Flamestorm padded lightly alongside Foxstar, pausing every now and then to take in the scents around her, giving a slight growl when the smell of BreezeClan tapped of her mouth, no, she wasnt overly fond of the BreezeClan cats, but, she was able to get along with them enough to not raise her hackles at the sight of one at a Gathering, her feelings towards the others Clans were basically the same, but something about BreezeClan disturbed her just a hint more and for this she would rather just not have anything to do with them. Looking back up she realised that Foxstar had gone up further ahead and was.. staring.. at her, she winked at him to see if he'd realise that she had noticed him but as he shook his head she thought he might've missed it and began to giggle slightly, not so much at the thought that the leader found it hard to take his eyes off her but the fact that she couldn't take her eyes off him, giving a blink to bring herself back into reality she trotted after him lightly.
'I don't trust them', her ears swerved to pick up the leader giving the murmer, she silently agreed under her breath, parting her jaw slightly she breathed in the smell around her, unliking how the BreezeClan scent was particuarly strong, she gave a short sigh and moved up to Foxstar, unable to help herself she pressed her muzzle against his, looking deep into his beautiful blue eyes, at that moment, the fact they were on patrol completely oblivious to her

Foxstar glanced at his mate and couldn't stop the sudden heat that crept over his cheeks as she pressed her muzzle agaisnt his before catching his eyes with her own light green orbs. The ones he had fallen so desperatly in love with. Lightly giving her nose a tender lick, the tom flicked his tail against Flamestorm's sholder before taking a few pawsteps forward, maw parted once again to allow the scents of the forest to engulf him. Of course he blocked out the strong wind-scented BreezeClan, but it was another scent that made him stop in his tracks.
Rouges.
Glancing back to Flamestorm with a twitch of his ear, Foxstar turned, ginger fur prickling slightly as he tried to sort through the scents and reconise that of the rouges, a distant hope that they were the three, more liked cats of the silence. Padding forward and into the thick undergrowth of EmberClan territory, the leader kept his jaws parted, following the faint scent of the rouges till it grew stunningly strong, making his gulp slightly as his head begun to spin. 'Remember to breath mouse-brain.' Taking a few good heartbeats to get his breathing straight, Foxstar once again lifted his muzzle and finally reconised the three rouge scents that he knew all too well.
Relaxing dramaticly, Foxstar glanced back to check that Flamestorm was keeping up before he continued forward, following his sister's scent till they reached a small break in the trees where he remembered first meeting with wolf in his apprentice moons. Breaking out of the ferns, he nat once picked out the pale ginger pelt of his rather small sister. 'Well, Well, Well, look who's finally tracked us!' Turning his head to the side, Foxstar grinned. 'Greeting Storm, Wolf, Imortality,' he purred as the three cats emerged fully.
The dark rbown tom parted his jaws, shining white teeth shining brightly in a perfect mould with his small pink tongue. 'Why are we here again? Why couldn't we go to Honey Bay? I like it there. it smells nice and the water is shallower and cleaner than here,' Storm whinned, ears flat against his head as he pawed at the dead leaved that covered the forest ground as the golden pelted she-cat next to him let out a small purr of amuzement, pressing her muzzle lightly against his, opal gaze glimmering brightly. 'We need to check up on young Foxstar,' Imortality mewed in a know-it-all tone as Storm let out a short snap. 'I know that! I'm just simply stating!' he hissed as Wolf spared the huge black tom a glance to get him to keep quiet. 'Fight later,' Wolf mewed softly as she got lightly to her paws, long ginger tail flicking from side to side as she yawned, stretching out across the ground. Storm gave a small snarl before leaping to his own paws and turned away from his two compainions. 'Well I'm going to go look around,' he mewed before dissapearing into the ferns.
Imortality rolled his sapphire gaze which made Wolf snort with laughter. 'God help us,' he growled as Wolf smacked him lightly over the ear. 'Oi!' She mewed scornfully, eyes narrowed slightly as she sat down, lifting her left paw up as she dragged her tongue lightly across the shorter fur before pulling it over her ear. 'He'll be back in a moment,' The black rouge mewed before sitting down beside Wolf. It was at that moment that two shapes appeared from either side of the clearing. 'Well, Well, Well, look who's finally tracked us!' Wolf rolled her eyes as she got lightly to her paws. 'Greeting Storm, Wolf, Imortality,' Giving a small purring nod to her brother, Wolf padded over to him, pressing her muzzle lovingly against her younger brother's.

Flamestorm purred softly, enjoying the moment she had with him before he turned off again, it was then she remember they were still on patrol. Giving her firey ginger pelt a quick shake she continued on not too far behind him, when the smell of rouges filled the air it gave her shivers down her spine, a rouge had almost killed her when she had run off. She did move closer to Foxstar, her fur all prickled up, partly from the fact that rouges were in the territory, but mostly from fear, she couldn't help it, that was untill he relaxed, she only got confused after that. 'Greeting Storm, Wolf, Imortality,''
She tilted her head slightly in confusion, it was obvious Foxstar knew these cats, and was fond of them, but who were they? She dropped back a notch, she was still fearful and wasn't willing to risk anything, even if they were very friendly rouges

Coalpaw walked silently on a small path, the visible dirt in-between the patches of grass his trail. The large black apprentice kept his amber eyes fixed on the waning path, lost in an unheard thought. 'Greeting Storm, Wolf, Imortality,' Coalpaw's head lifted up, a slight dizzy spell reached him from the sudden movement, his ears pricked. The voice was Foxstar's, but why would he invite rouges into EmberClan's territory? Coalpaw thought with a hiss. The black apprentice bounded onward, a serge of adrenaline suddenly at his disposal. Slowly his paws steps got smaller, and he was trotting at an even pace when he entered the space where he saw Flamestorm, Foxstar, and the rouges he took as Wolf, immortality, and Storm. With a hiss, Coalpaw retreated to Flmestorm's side, and his lips parted. "What are they doing here?" The black tomcat drew in a breath, then exhaled, the warm air merging with the cold. [/blockquote]
