- Welcome everyone to Dark Legend! We are now up and running so hopefully we can stay active and make this site the best we can. I'd like to welcome our two newest characters into roleplay, Flamestorm of EmberClan and Spiderwind of KindleClan, hopefully both these characters will continue in roleplay for a long while.

Plotline;;
It was moons before, when the area was untouched by two-legs and the four clans of WineGlass bay lived in harmony with each other, not counting the usual fights over borders and traitors. But that all changed when a cat, the most terrible of them all was born. Birdstar was the cat that changed everything. Taking control of EmberClan, this tom was about to do anything to kill off the clans, and that included his own. As two-leg ships begun to search the bay, Birdstar called war against the clans that refused to leave the bay,to give the white tom what he wanted but, it was then when the war begun. With EmberClan and KindleClan creating TorcedClan and BreezeClan and BrookClan creating RainClan, the two went to war and it is said that the sandy shore of the bay turned red with the blood of all cats that lost their lives when saving the forest.

This of course to all apprentices was just a myth, an elders story tha reminded every cat not to let war happen and not to give up hope that evil could destory the clans, but as the times grow dark with the lack of rain begginning to worry the clan, it was up to four chosen apprentices to save the forest as Birdstar returned, only in the form of the evil leder's great, great grand-daughter. Birdsong had almost succeeded as she started a fire that would have destroyed all the clans if the four apprentices, Earthpaw of KindleClan, Midnightpaw of EmberClan, Shadowpaw of BreezeClan and Littlepaw of BrookClan had not discovered this and fought against the times tokill this cat and save the forest. But,although they did this, the cost of the battle was the lives of Littlepaw and Shadowpaw and eaving Earthclaw with the scar that gave him his name, the well known moon-shaped scar that shows clearing on the side of his right hind leg.

Times have changed and the bay is once again peaceful as Midnighthowl and Earthclaw continue to serve their clans, but holding the burden of the death of their friends in their hearts and the pressure of no cat knowing what they did that saved the clans once and for all.

Or so they thought....

Weather;;
- The storms have passed,leaving the cats only with the freezing temperatures of the heavy morning frosts that cover the land, but the warm leaf-bare sun keeps all the clans working and living on as normal.

[ ]EmberClan Camp (3 sub-boards)
On the very edge of the thick rainforest in which EmberClan make their home, there is a small slope, in which the small river which flows from the mountains above flows down into a small bay off a bay, an indent in the oceanside. This small, shallow gathering of crystal blue waters, dyed orange in the setting sun, is surrounded by small caves, lined in warm, damp moss, great for all times of the year. A ledge pulls out from the middle of the river, looking over the small indent and also marking a small hidden den within the walls of the cliff-side.

[ ]The Thick Rainforest (3 sub-boards)
Sloping over the point of the bay is almost endless fields of beautiful, thick rainforest, full of lush wildlife, plentiful prey and slopes of lighter, open forest. Lining the edge of this thickly grown forest is a row of steep rocky cliffs, stopping any cat from going to do more than look over the bay, apart from the underpath as can be seen from the camp. On the point of the territory, there is a line of thin beach and shallow waters, right beside the breezeclan border, which is always fought over.

[ ]The Water Cross and The Fern Line
Marked by a steep ditch in the shore that is filled with water and goes up to mark the main plain of BreezeClan, this is the BreezeClan border with EmberClan while up behind the territory, marked by a line of ferns that spreads for many many fox lengths across the back of the territory is the end of emberclan's territory.

Hidden within a hollow on the edge of the light woodlands, is a small clearing, surrounded by thick thorns and vines which have over time been fashioned into dens surrounding a large fallen log, hollow on the inside. With long grass covering the camp, nothing too much other than that covers the centre of the camp.

Covering the long stretch of open land is plains of beautiful deep, lush grass, the ground damp from the large amount of rain which falls around the bay at all times of the year. To the back of the territory, right beside the camp, a thick stretch of light woodlands cover the grass, while to the south, is the white sandy ground of the beach which covers up to the shallows of the bay.

[ ]The Water Cross, The Forest Edge and The Creek Break
Marked by a steep ditch in the shore that is filled with water and goes up to mark the main plain of BreezeClan, this is the EmberClan border with breezeClan. Up the back of the territory, the claimed land ends at the end of the forest and marked by the edge of the waterhole. To the opposite side of the emberclan border is the Kindleclan border which is marked by a thin creek that sneaks through the cracked ground. This runs from the waterhole down to the shallows.

Within the reeds and long soggy grasses, surrounded by a small waterhole is a hollow, underground dens lined with moss forming dens in the damp soil while a large old tree looks over the camp.

Spreading from the thin lines of trees which form the breezeclan border, an arrangement of thick trees covers a majority of the territory, the ground undernreath the thin canopy soggy and wet which all KindleClan cats are used to. With a thin lining of soggy, muddy groud covering the more coastal areas. KindleClan own the largest and whitest part of the beach, right up to the edge of the cliffs where the shallows grow into a deep, neverending drop of water.

[ ]The Creek Break, The Forest Edge and Echidna Gully
The Breezeclan border which is marked by a thin creek that sneaks through the cracked ground. This runs from the waterhole down to the shallows. To the back of the territory, KindleClan's border is marked by the edge of the marsh forest. Running across the edge of the marsh is a small stream, given the name Echidna stream due to the echidna's living in the edges. This marks the BrookClan border.

Hidden within a large cave at the very edge of the territory, BrookClan camp is an open area covering the inner areas of the Spiritmount, the whole area covered in moss and with the brook running through the centre, the whole area is what gives BrookClan cats their thick coats for the freezing area they occupy.

[ ]The Undergrowing Bushlands (3 sub-boards)
Spreading from the edge of the beach and up to the thunderpath at the very edge of the territory, a thick covering of gum trees and wattles cover the territory, the harsh, rocky ground only hidden by the undergrowing thickets of bushy trees that don't grow over a tail length high. Covered in creeks and brook, you have to watch our footing for sudden ditches which always gives the clan advantage within undergrowth. At the ocean edge, the low spread of rocks line the deep waters of the bay, which BrookClan cats are known to swim in and really are the only cats that will swim in insanly deep waters that crash against the warm rock shore.

[ ]Echidna Gully, The Rock Cliffs and The Spiritpath
Running across the edge of the marsh is a small stream, given the name Echidna gully due to the echidna's living in the edges. This marks the KindleClan border. The cliffs mark the back of the territory, as these cliffs hang over a small thunderpath where two-legs are found. the final border for BrookClan is the path to the spiritstones which goes up around the camp entrance.

[ ]The Spiritstones
Perched on the top of the Spiritmount, a huge hill on the border with BrookClan is a group of large, light brown rocks, lined up in a small circle. When one stands in the centre of these rocks, the cat on moonhigh and if for a pure reason, the clans can use this point to speak to their warriors ansestors. SpiritClan.

[ ]Milky Bay
At the north side of all the clans is another smaller bay, the sand being milky white and the water shallow enough that any cat can sit in it. On the edge of the white shore are four huge stones reaching out of the grass. This is where every second full moon the clans meet for their gathering.

[ ]The Forest Of Silence
Behind the clans is a patch of territory that can only be described as no-cat's land. This thick and thin forest for oaks and vines is a place that is unclaimed and filled with rouges and loners who occupy the land.

Across the thunderpath at the back of BrookClan territory is a small two-lge townwhich is well known for having a large kitty-pet population.
